Marilyn Standley: Architect, CSI - Sebastopol

In my professional architectural practice, I strive to provide high quality design and drawings.

I understand that it is important to listen carefully to my client’s needs and goals in order to give them the best, most thoughtful design solution.

I enjoy educating and encouraging my clients to consider green products and sustainable building practices that will not only enhance their own personal environment but also promote a more respectful relationship with our natural world.

Working together as a team with my clients, the contractor, and the consultants is a process that creates an atmosphere of cooperation and collective problem solving and results in more successful projects.

Located in Sebastopol, CA, and serving Santa Rosa and Sonoma County since 1994.

Residential Architectural Design
Smaller is Better
We don't really need as much space as we think we do. Smaller homes and smaller spaces can be just as gracious as larger ones.
Comfortable Interiors
A person's house is a haven and should be designed to support those who dwell there and foster their well-being.
Contextual Design
A building, and especially an addition to an existing building, should look like it belongs there. It should fit in with and enhance its immediate environment.
Sustainable Building
Being green is getting easier. When considering each project, there is always something we can do to help consume less energy and use fewer resources.
